The Kalevala Christmas ornament will set the mood and bring the spirit of Christmas to your home, year after year. Christmas ornament for the year 2020 the Bird of Tampere brings a message from the prosperous Viking Era, dating back a thousand years. Birds were common motifs in jewelry at that time. For ancient Finns, birds symbolised luck and prosperity, and because birds could fly in the air and reach the sky high above, they were believed to be messengers between this world and the underworld.
