The Night of the Arts has been celebrated in Helsinki since 1989. Every year on a Thursday in mid-August the streets and clubs and shops are filled with music, dance, poetry, installations and performances. Nearly as long Kalevala has participated in the festivities by making a limited edition of special Night of the Arts jewelry, different each year. The bronze and silver charms are collector’s items and sold either attached to a pea chain bracelet or separately so that you can have the charm added to your bracelet next to the Night of the Arts charms from previous years. This year’s edition is the popular Circle of Light designed by Tiina Arkko. The Night of the Arts jewelry is only available in our webshop and Kalevala Stores in Helsinki until Sunday August 20.
