An arc, glittering golden on the horizon
Bids farewell to the setting sun
Sees the day off
Making it yesterday
While somewhere else, at the same time,
The sun, rising under the same arc
Welcomes tomorrow
Yesterday and tomorrow
The eternal continuum of time and life
Linked by the golden arc
