Marimekko and Kalevala launch a limited-edition collaboration collection. The Unikko design by Maija Isola has received a new interpretation in the hands of the skilled goldsmiths at Kalevala Jewelry in honor of its 60th anniversary.

The collection is inspired by the rugged beauty of ancient pine trees found in the Finnish archipelago. “The pine trees encapsulate nature’s vigor and mystique in their intriguing forms and patterns. The swirling shape of the old pine trees is translated into the collection, creating sculptural jewelry pieces that reveal new forms when observed from different angles”, says young Finnish designer Ildar Wafin.
