These terms and conditions (hereafter the “Agreement”) contains the terms and conditions of the use of Kalevala Jewelry Webshop at www.kalevalashop.com (hereafter the “Webshop”) owned by Kalevala Koru Oy (hereafter “Kalevala”). When a person (hereafter the “User”) orders a product or products from the Webshop (hereafter the “Products”), the User agrees to be bound by the Agreement.

The use of the Webshop
The User must be eighteen (18) or older to order Products from the Webshop.
After the User has placed an order at the Webshop, the User will receive a confirmation e-mail from Kalevala webshop and a binding sales agreement is reached between the User and Kalevala webshop. The said confirmation e-mail will be sent to that e-mail address as provided by the User in the respective order.
The User is responsible for all activities occurred under its account or password. The User is responsible for maintaining the security of its password. The User warrants that the information provided during the ordering process is true and correct.
The content of the Webshop (including without limitation drawings, pictures, sounds, films, graphics and text) is the property of Kalevala webshop and protected by copyrights and other intellectual property rights. Kalevala webshop grants to the User a limited license to access and make personal use of the Webshop. The User shall not have the right to download, reproduce, transfer, transmit, duplicate, sell or modify the Webshop or any portion of it without express prior written consent of Kalevala webshop. The User shall have the right to print and download this Agreement for its personal use.

For payment with credit cards, the User is charged in real time, through the payment gateway. Webshop is using secure payment system of leading financial entities in electronic commerce in order to keep up maximum security of the payment (SSL technology). Kalevala webshop does not have access to the User’s credit card numbers and they will not be saved on Kalevala webshop’s database, not even temporarily.
In order to pay the Products with a Visa Electron card, the Verified by Visa service for online payments must be activated. The Webshop verifies all the credit card transactions before delivering the Products to the User. Kalevala webshop reserves the right to reject any order if Kalevala webshop has not been able to verify the credit card transaction.
The Product price is the price displayed for the Product at the Webshop at the time of ordering.
The shipping fees are as follows:
- Delivery inside Finland 5,90 €
- EU deliveries 15,00 €
- Other international deliveries 19,00 €
Kalevala webshop reserves the right to reject any order due to incorrect price information eg when price is missing or being clearly outside the normal price range.
The said fees can be seen in the shopping basket page separately for each Product.
All the Product prices and delivery charges are displayed in euros (€).
If the Products are delivered to destination outside the EU, the User is responsible for any customs fees, import duties or other comparable costs. The User acknowledges that the customs policies vary widely from country to country. The User should contact the local customs office for further information. When customs clearance procedures are required, the User is responsible for charges related thereto and the User acknowledges and agrees that it can cause delays beyond Kalevala webshop’s original delivery estimates.
Webshop processes the purchase orders made by the User within two (2) working days. All Products will be delivered directly to the User's delivery address using DHL Express global delivery service.
Delivery time is subject to availability of the Product and order destination. The delivery time to EU countries is usually 2-4 days. Delivery times to outside EU countries depend on the destination country, customs and other local factors. After dispatching the order Kalevala Webshop will send a delivery notification with a tracking link to the User's email address to ease the delivery progress follow-up. Kalevala Webshop will deliver the Products to the address provided in the purchase order. Kalevala Webshop warrants that all shipments are insured.
Provided that Product delivery will delay significantly, Kalevala Jewelry’s customer service will contact the User via the email as provided in the purchase order by the User.
Kalevala Webshop reserves the right to deliver different Products ordered in the same time separately.
In case the Product has not arrived and the User has not been contacted by Kalevala customer service, the User is recommended to contact Kalevala Webshop email@example.com or by phone +358 (0) 207 611 230.
Kalevala Webshop reserves the right to reject any order. In such cases the payments made by the User will be returned to the credit card account within 30 days.
All Kalevala Jewelry's Products carry a life-long warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Kalevala Jewelry’s warranty provided herein does not include normal tear and wear due to use of the Product. Furthermore, Kalevala Jewelry’s warranty does not include defects due to negligence in products care. Cancellation and Product Returns
The User shall have the right to cancel the order before the Product is delivered to the User. If the User wishes to cancel its order, the User must contact Kalevala Jewelry’s customer service by email and to include its name, address and order number in the email. Kalevala Webshop will return the payments made the User’s credit card account within 30 days.
The User has the right to return or exchange a Product within fourteen (14) days from the day when the User received the Product. This return policy does not cover Products which are produced or altered in accordance with the User’s wishes.
(iv)the Product has been repackaged into its original package.
The Product must be returned to Kalevala webshop as soon as possible after cancellation. When returning the Products the User will be responsible for risk of damages during the return delivery. Returning costs are carried by the buyer.
The price of the returned Products paid by the User will be refunded to the User’s credit card. The reimbursement will take place as soon as Kalevala Jewelry has received and inspected the returned Products, however no later than within thirty (30) days from the day when Kalevala Jewelry has received the returned Products.
If the Product is faulty or damaged during the shipment, the User must inform Kalevala customer service about said defect as soon as the User has noticed the defect.Kalevala endeavours to replace the faulty or damaged Product, but if this is not possible Kalevala will reimburse the User with the full amount of costs paid by the User. Kalevala will not reimburse the User with the costs before Kalevala has confirmed the defect in the Product. The User is recommended to contact Kalevala customer service in order to receive more instructions with this respect.
Kalevala Webshop respects the User’s privacy. The personal data and other information received from the User via the Webshop is used only by Kalevala Jewelry, except in cases where Kalevala uses third parties to perform certain functions, such as credit card processing, delivering Products and fulfilling orders. In such cases Kalevala provides only such information necessary for the third party to perform its specific functions.
Kalevala webshop does not transfer any personal data or other information received from the User to a third party for any other purpose than processing the purchase order. Kalevala Webshop does not sell, share, lease or rent such information to any third party for any reason.
Kalevala webshop reserves the right to transfer personal data and other information received from the User to the authorities in the case of infringement of applicable laws and regulations. Our service providers outside EU meet the EU's General Data Protection Regulation.
The User’s name, contact information and other personal data provided will be stored at Webshop's customer register.
The User has the right to examine, change and delete its personal data stored to the customer register. The User has the right to examine its personal data stored to the customer register for free once a year by sending Kalevala Webshop a written application. Kalevala Jewelry will use the User’s personal data in order to process the Product Orders.
Kalevala Webshop may use the User’s personal data received from the User for marketing purposes. The User has the right at any time to prohibit Kalevala Webshop from continuing the marketing of its products.
Changes to the Webshop and the Agreement
Kalevala reserves the right to make changes to the Webshop, its polices and the Agreement at any time. If the Agreement is changed, Kalevala Webshop will post a notification of the said change at the front page of the Webshop. Modified Agreement will apply to all orders made after the notice is posted to the front page of the Webshop.
Kalevala webshop shall not be liable for any breach of its obligations under this Agreement or delays in performing or failure to perform in accordance with this Agreement, which are attributable to causes beyond Kalevala Webshop's reasonable control, including without limitation fires, strikes, labor disputes, wars, natural catastrophe, acts or interventions by any governmental authority, failure of a common carrier, supplier, hardware, software, browser, network failure or malfunction.
Liability and Mandatory Consumer Legislation
Kalevala webshop is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, unless caused by willful misconduct or gross negligence. This limitation of liability shall not limit Kalevala webshop’s liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence act.
Nothing contained in this Agreement shall limit the User’s rights under the applicable mandatory consumer legislation.
Applicable Law and Disputes
This Agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Finland, excluding its choice of laws provisions. Any dispute arising out of or related to this Agreement shall be settled in Finland at the Helsinki district court.
