The magic of a summer night rose

The Summer Night Rose jewelry series is full of thoughtful details, where Anni Ruuth's vision combined with Kalevala Jewelry's strong product development and jewelry manufacturing know-how creates a final result that touches perfection.

Anni Ruuth was inspired by the Midsummer roses growing in her grandmother's yard when she was a child. "Roses are a promise of summer and light, summer night. The summer night rose reminds us how important it is to find joy and beauty in this time as well," says the designer, and continues: "Roses bloom in the dark." The sentence is an excerpt from the poet Saima Harmaja's texts, which Anni immersed herself in during her creative design work. Read more in Anni's blog about how the Summer Night rose came to be.

The Summer Night Rose collection is made from recycled silver and partially recycled bronze. The colors of the jewelry are vintage bronze and shimmering silver. All Kalevala jewelry is handmade in our factory in Helsinki.
