Our Black Friday 2022 earrings are based on Eastern Finnish Iron Age animal pendants embellished with tinkling charms. Made of bronze and silver, the two-headed horse motif was part of Kalevala jewelry collection from the 1950s till the early 2000s. After two decades of absence it now rides back as a cheerful plywood version. The black Two-Headed Horse plywood earrings are available only in our webshop and Kalevala stores in Helsinki.

The plywood earrings are a limited edition campaign product. The earrings are made of Finnish plywood with connecting parts in bronze and hooks in gold-plated silver. Dyed black on both sides, the reverse side unpatterned. As the plywood earrings are a special limited edition product, Kalevala Koru does not offer any repair service. When handled with care, the earrings will bring you joy for a long time. Please avoid exposing the earrings to moisture: do not swim or bathe while wearing them or store them in a humid place. Cosmetics such as perfume and hairspray will damage both the plywood and metal parts. Plywood is a relatively brittle material and does not tolerate bending.
