The Kalevala Christmas ornament 2024 is the beloved Eura Heart. The prototype of the heart motif was found in Pappilanmäki, Eura, and it dates back to the prosperous Viking era. Eura Heart jewelry has been part of Kalevala jewelry line since the 1950s.

A Kalevala Christmas ornament is jewelry for your home. The ornament, skillfully made from sparkling silver, reflects the warm light of candles and fire in the hearth. When daylight is scarce and the days are short, it’s time to place the ornament on the wall, in the window or on your Christmas tree, and let joy and beauty fill your home. The Kalevala Christmas ornament will set the mood and bring the spirit of Christmas to your home, year after year. The ornaments are collectors’ items, and the year of manufacture stamped on them will tell generations to come when the ornament was made.

The red ribbon on the ornament is made from recycled PET bottles.

Care instructions for silver jewelry

Kalevala silver jewelry is handcrafted in Finland from sterling silver. More than 99% of the silver we use is recycled.

Over time, all silver jewelry darkens. Darkening can be prevented by regular cleaning and proper storage of the jewelry. Dark spots can be removed with a Kalevala cleaning cloth. After cleaning, it is a good idea to wash the jewelry in mild soapy water so that the cleaning agent does not stain the clothes. The cleaning cloth is not suitable for cleaning stones set in silver jewelry.

It is good to keep the jewelry in its original packaging. Additional protection for jewelry without
against the darkening effect of impurities is provided by a tight plastic bag.
