earrings draw their inspiration from a headband designed by Paula Häiväoja in the 1960s. The earrings are mirror images of each other. Height 40 mm. Stud fastening.
Fashion artist Paula Häiväoja (1929–2011) was the Head of Design at Kalevala Koru from 1963 to 1967. As the company approaches its 90th anniversary, Kalevala Koru honors the design legacy of its first female Head of Design by introducing jewelry inspired by Häiväoja’s futuristic jewelry art of the 1960s. The items are stamped with the anniversary year logo.
