PRODUCT DESCRIPTION AND FEATURES

The Kosmos choker designed by Antonio Mazzamauro is a combination of shimmering silver and luxuriously soft black reindeer skin. The round silver plates are patterned on both sides. You can use the versatile jewelry as a choker necklace that follows the neck, wrapped around the wrist many times or even as a belt. The leather straps are threaded through a small silver sleeve, which you can slide to adjust the length of the jewelry. The ends of the ribbons are glued inside small silver tubes, and they hang free.

Please note that the color may come off from the new leather on the skin or on delicate, light textile materials. Leather is a natural material. The strips are cut from Finnish vegetable-tanned and dyed reindeer skin, sourced from surplus hides.

Made in limited edition, the Kosmos choker is only available in Kalevala webshop and Kalevala stores in Helsinki.

Care instructions for silver jewelry

Kalevala silver jewelry is handcrafted in Finland from sterling silver. More than 99% of the silver we use is recycled.

Over time, all silver jewelry darkens. Darkening can be prevented by regular cleaning and proper storage of the jewelry. Dark spots can be removed with a Kalevala cleaning cloth. After cleaning, it is a good idea to wash the jewelry in mild soapy water so that the cleaning agent does not stain the clothes. The cleaning cloth is not suitable for cleaning stones set in silver jewelry.

It is good to keep the jewelry in its original packaging. Additional protection for jewelry without
against the darkening effect of impurities is provided by a tight plastic bag.
