Small, heart-shaped silver leaflet and pale pink or white freshwater pearl adorn the delicate Twinflower pendant, perfect for girls and women of all ages. The length of the oval ball chain is adjustable (42/45 cm). Lobster clasp.

If the chain is too short for you, you can easily add length to it with a 5 cm extension piece sold separately.

JEWELRY STORY

Twinflower, Linnaea borealis, is the delicate flower of lush spruce forests. The slender plant hugs the velvet moss, pushing up stems, one after another, bearing pairs of gentle bell-like flowers. The timid twinflower is the shy beauty of the Finnish forest. The beloved poem ‘Nocturne’ by Eino Leino (1878-1926), one of Finland’s most notable writers, whispers the timeless message of summer nights in Finland, describing the scent of twinflower and shadows of water, elements of the heart’s song. These lines by young Eino Leino inspired jewellery designer Kirsti Doukas, and the pearls in her Twinflower jewelry capture the essential charm of the delicate twinflower.

Pearls are sensitive to scratches and chemicals such as perfume, hairspray and moisturizers, they are the last to be put on and the first to be taken off. It is good to wipe the beads after each use with a clean, soft cloth.
