PRODUCT DESCRIPTION AND FEATURES

In the Teljä Maiden charm, a single unending string forms a sailor’s knot enclosed in a heart. The magic of the knot symbolises love. The pendant is inspired by the iconic Teljä Maiden jewelry, created in the 1940s by artist Germund Paaer, who designed the first Kalevala jewelry. Heart and knot – double companionship, double love.

The bronze Teljä Maiden amulet glowing like gold appeals to all friends of small and light jewelry, who take interest in intriguing details, powerful stories and beliefs from distant past. Wear long, short or inbetween, perhaps two or even three Amulets simultaneously. Gold-plated bronze chain, adjustable length 40/45/50 cm. The pendant is delivered with a separate extension piece you can use to make the chain even longer, 55 or 60 cm. Spring ring clasp on both the chain and the extension.

Care instructions for bronze jewelry

Bronze is an alloy of copper, tin and zinc which
tarnishes faster than precious metals. The new bronze jewelry has a jewelry protector
varnish surface that prevents the jewelry from darkening. With the Kalevala cleaning cloth, you can
polishes areas that have dimmed if the protective varnish has worn off.
After cleaning, it's a good idea to wash the jewelry in mild soapy water, so as not to damage the cloth
the cleaning agent inside stains clothes.
